Leashes are a saving grace. Seriously!
For serious, you guys. Kids go everywhere. And the small ones don't think about where they're going... or what they're picking up or knocking down. My mom had so much trouble with my brothers when we were kids that she bought over-sized dog collars and used them to belt the boys into the shopping cart. There were mixed responses to this. Some thought that was the best idea ever and wished they had thought of it sooner. Others thought my mom was the scum of the earth for tying my brothers down. They wouldn't have thought that way if they could have seen how easily those two could demolish an aisle. /ramble

haha, I know, right? and as a kid I loved them, because I always knew that Mommy was at the other end of the leash. (we had this one that we tied around our wrists, it was so nice.)
